About FitMyCall
FitMyCall exists because pricing in the answering service market is deliberately hard to compare, and because the people who need it least are the ones best served by the current search results.
Why this site
Search for an AI receptionist and nearly every result is a vendor explaining why they beat the others. That is not dishonest, it is just how vendor marketing works, but it leaves a small business owner with twenty tabs open and no way to line the prices up. Meanwhile the prices themselves move constantly: in one research pass we found a vendor that had dropped its entire small-business range and another that had swapped per-minute billing for a credit pool, both still being quoted at old prices across the web.
So the job here is narrow and boring on purpose: read every vendor's pricing page, write down what it says, date it, and lay the numbers side by side. Add the one thing vendors never publish, which is the catch.
Who writes it
FitMyCall is run by a single independent operator, not an agency and not a vendor. There is no sales team, no sponsored placement and nobody from these companies reviewing our copy. The trade-off of being small is that we cover pricing and fit rather than long hands-on testing of every product.
How it pays for itself
Some links to vendors are affiliate links and may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. That is the whole business model. It does not affect rankings or wording, and plenty of the services we point people towards pay us nothing. Our research method spells out exactly where the numbers come from and what we refuse to publish.
What we track
21 companies, of which 17 publish enough pricing to compare properly. Last full verification pass: July 2026. If you spot a price that has changed, that is a bug and we want to know: hello@fitmycall.com.
